Position: Controller of Stationery in the Government of India Stationery Office, Kolkata under the Ministry of Urban Development
No. of Post: 1 (One)
Pay Band-3, Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.7600.

The incumbent of the post is to work as Head of the Department directly under the control of this Ministry and inter-alia, would be responsible for planning, procuring, storing and distribution of Stationery articles, paper etc., required for various Central Government Departments for Public use. The Headquarters is at 3, Church Lane, Kolkata-700001 with three Regional Depots at New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
2. Officers under Central / state Government / Union Territories / Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous and Semi-autonomous organizations:-
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent Cadre or
Department; or
(ii) having five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.6600 or equivalent in the parent Cadre or Department; and
(b) (i) having Graduate Degree from a recognized University or equivalent;
and
(ii) possessing ten years experience in the field of Stationery and Stores
are eligible to apply for the post.
Note: The Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct
line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
The period of deputation (including short-term contract) including period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other organization / Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed four years.

The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
3. The pay of the selected candidates will be regulated in accordance with the rules on the subject as amended from time to time.
4. The up-to-date CR dossier of the officers concerned along with their Integrity certificates and vigilance clearance may also please be sent along with the applications. It may also be indicated whether any major/minor penalty was ever imposed on the applicants. If so, the details thereof may be
furnished while forwarding the applications. Applications of only eligible candidates, along with the abovementioned documents/Information may be forwarded for consideration. Applications which are received late and/or without the documents/ information mentioned above shall not be considered.
