As a result, IDC has identified IdM as one of the fastest growing enterprise markets. Identity is Microsoft’s strategic platform for winning this business and we are looking for the right people who want to win and have fun doing it.

Microsoft’s IdM strategy is built around five solution areas: Directory Services (Active Directory- AD), Strong Authentication (Certificate Services/PKI), Federated Identity (Active Directory Federation Services - ADFS), Information Protection (Active Directory Rights Management Services - ADRMS), and ForeFront Identity Manager (FIM).

The Incubation Sales Organization drives sales of newly developed and acquired enterprise products to $1B in worldwide revenue, positioning them for transition to Microsoft’s field sales organization. Incubation is currently responsible for selling: Windows Azure, Voice, Parallel Data Warehouse, Mobility, RMS, UAG, Forefront Identity Manager, Bing Maps, and HPC

As Identity Technology Sales Professional, you will be responsible for engaging customers with technical depth regarding Identify and Access Management solutions. You will be responsible for sales within Microsoft’s Enterprise customer base to exceed quota, work with key partners of the IdM ecosystem on sales support and help grow the adoption of this exciting portfolio of technologies. The Incubation team is Microsoft’s core team designed to grow emerging solutions to be a major Microsoft business. As part of an overlay team, you will partner with colleagues across the Microsoft product spectrum to establish account strategies and assure adoption of IdM and work as a team to close solution sales. You will be responsible for the delivery of Proofs of Concept to further the sales effort. This pre-sales technical role will have you partnered with an Identity Solution Sales Specialist.

Key requirements and activities in this role include:
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a pre-sales technical capacity selling enterprise software, enterprise consulting or an equivalent
• Demonstrated experience delivering technical presentations, demonstrations and proofs of concept
• Ability to engage and present to large audiences
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required, Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Understanding of the broad information security landscape and related technologies
• Understanding of LDAP, Active Directory, PKI, RMS
• Understanding of regulatory compliance e.g. GLB; FDIC; SOX; HIPAA desirable
• Ability to work in a team environment,
• BS degree preferred, MCSE is required, CISSP is desirable
